A great opportunity for a Graduate Electronics Engineer to join a well-established manufacturer of revolutionary Electronics, Software, Control, and Instrumentation groundbreaking products has opened to join the organization based in Birmingham (West Midlands). As the Graduate Electronics Engineer you will gain experience of all aspects of the development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, applied research and testing.
The permanent salary on offer for the successful Graduate Electronics Engineer is £20,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on skillset & experience.
As the Graduate Electronics Engineer you will have the following key skills:

  • A degree or PhD in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science or a related subject
  • 6 Months to 2 years industry experience
  • Electronics Circuit Design (Analogue/ Digital)
  • Mixed Signal Circuit Design
  • Developing schematics, PCB layouts and BOMs for PCB designs
  • Testing, fault finding, soldering, and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with Resistors, Transistors and Capacitors
  • Ability to using a variety of test equipment including oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers or similar
  • Commitment to learning and development 
    Desirable nice to have skills:
    • An understanding of the legal compliance requirements of an electronic product before placing it on the market - CE Marking, EMC Testing, LVD
    • Embedded Software Development - Embedded C, C++
    • Other programming languages - Python, Java, C#
    • Network Communication protocol - SPI, I2C, USB, UART, RS232/ 485
