Based in Newcastle this company are a leading design and manufacture of cutting edge medical diagnostic equipment.

The graduate engineer hired for this role will work within a team of scientists and engineers developing portable diagnostic device and diagnostics assays for a range of diseases. You will be developed into competent mechanical engineer to take a lead technical role in the mechanical design of this companies devices.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent and have a passion for developing their career in design & development.

This is a brilliant role for a graduate engineer to join a leading company who operate within the highly sought after medical device arena and benefit from working with world class scientist and engineers

The role:

*Working within a team of scientists and engineers developing portable diagnostic devices.
*Design engineering using Solidworks 3D.
*Full training provided.


The person:


*Have a mechanical engineering degree or equivalent.
*Want a career in mechanical design and development.
*Be strong with 3D CAD specifically Solidworks.
