Your dream role:

  • An opportunity for a Graduate Engineer to join our Whole Vehicle Verification team
  • Develop into a Homologation Engineer responsible for assisting the business in designing, procuring, and producing products compliant with the law by providing guidance and interpretation
  • Support partners internally and external suppliers and/or test sites to obtain information in support of compliance documentation
  • Support Engineers with ongoing approvals maintenance during product lifecycle
  • Learn how to review legislative requirements applicable to Alexander Dennis for existing and proposed territories
  • Build an understanding of the relevant legislation, keeping abreast of legislative change, and provide impact analysis, guidance, and interpretation internally on a regular basis
  • You will support the team in conducting inspections, audits, training, or testing as applicable to ensure legislative COP requirements continue to be met
  • We are a fast-paced business with often competing priorities. Work cross functionally internally and externally to deliver business and customer requirements
  • Roles like this don’t come along often. Learn from a wide range of senior stakeholders and work on complex projects, developing you into a Homologation Engineer.

What you will bring:

  • Recently graduated with a degree in an Engineering discipline
  • Have the ability to assimilate new and complex information and able to present information to stakeholders in a clear manner
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of seniority, internally and externally
  • Relationship building will come easily to you – you will be confident and won’t shy away from working with a variety of stakeholders and asking us lots of questions!
  • Driven, curious, and passionate about delivering the highest quality of work at all times
  • Good IT skills, with experience of MS packages
  • Things can be hectic here so you will have the ability to work unsupervised, often to tight deadlines
  • Generally, you will be approachable, with a strong work ethic and desire to succeed.
