A prestigious US Law Firm based in the City is looking to hire a new Legal Recruiting Coordinator to join the London office on a permanent basis, to focus on coordinating the running of the UK and US graduate recruitment for London. This will primarily involve the coordination of the annual recruitment, orientation and development of the summer students, trainee solicitors and the summer associates. Responsibilities will include promoting the firm on campus around the UK, working with the team help manage the relationship between the firm and target universities, academics, careers advice centres, advertisers and groups and societies within the student population, working closely with the Graduate Recruitment Partners, along with the team, review all graduate applications, selecting those suitable for assessment days or interviews, resourcing and managing all assessment and selection processes to offer stage, organising vacation schemes including events; presentations and assessments and helping the team ensure the smooth running of the scheme, ensure that all future trainees are kept regularly up to date with firm news and that issues surrounding the GDL or LPC or SQE equivalents are managed effectively, reporting on graduate recruitment statistics to the US for firm wide discussion, monitoring competitors and ensure we are constantly improving the firms approach, assist with the co-ordination of the trainee induction program and PSC course for all trainees, ensuring compliance with all SRA regulations., maintaining a spreadsheet of trainee holidays. Other duties include coordinating the US Graduate Programme - along with other team members responsible for organising the on campus interviews at Harvard and Columbia/CV collection and then any London call-backs, liaise with the Partners in order to ascertain hiring needs before helping to arrange flights, visas, accommodation and activities for the successful applicants, keeping up to date on SRA regulations. Ensuring firm incompliance., assisting the Legal Recruiting team with Diversity; Immigration; Regulatory and other matters as needed including lateral recruitment as necessary. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years UK Graduate Recruitment experience within a law firm, strong education, exceptional communication and organisaiton skills and to be a strong team player.
