Future Teachers Programme
The programme is designed to help address the teacher shortages across England & Wales by attracting bright graduates who are considering a career in teaching, but wish to gain practical experience before enrolling in initial teacher training (ITT).
You will begin your journey to teaching working at one or a number of our client Secondary Schools near where you live for up to a year, starting in autumn 2019.
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant/Cover Supervisor, you will engage in a range of tasks to get a full feel of what it would be like to be a teacher, from supporting pupils with their studies in small groups and 1:1, to assisting class teachers across all departments including your specialism and getting involved with planning/delivering your own lessons!
Gain a year's invaluable experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant/Cover Supervisor with our reputable partner Secondary Schools in Scarborough and surrounding areas, and progress with one of the schools to do your teacher training on site!
Best of all, you will earn up to £1,200 a month for your first year whilst enhancing your confidence, subject knowledge and teaching ability prior to beginning your training.
