Graduate Engineer (Mechanical)

Circa £25,000 + 25 days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Healthcare + Company Pension + Training

Days based role: 7:30 to 16:00 Monday to Friday (occasional overtime and weekend work when required)

Graduate Engineer required for a successful company who are offering an interesting role working closely with MOD ships based in Falmouth. This role offers lots of variety and plenty of on the job training.

To apply for this role you will have a mechanical background. You will have experience of using either AutoCAD, Inventor or Solidworks. Non-graduates with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.

The successful candidate will be responsible for working within a small team tasked with producing technical specifications for installs and upgrades on MOD ships. You will carry out ship surveys and produce specifications on how equipment, such as GPS systems, radars, ammunition lifts and generators , will be upgraded and installed.

When required, you will also be responsible for putting together fabrication drawings using AutoCAD software.

* Creating technical specifications for installation and upgrades of systems

The Person:

* Mechanical Bias
* Experience of using either AutoCAD, Inventor or Solidworks
* Ideally Degree qualified or non-graduates with relevant work experience also encouraged to apply
