Alexander Steele Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a large manufacturing business near Cumbernauld.  The business manufacturers a range of components for the oil & gas sector and the aerospace sector.

Due to growth they are currently looking to recruit a Graduate / Trainee Sales Administrator to join their team.  This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual who is looking to build a long-term career within a Sales position.  The company will offer full training and development with a view to develop the role long term.

Working with Head of Sales & External Sales team your initial role will be supporting these departments with a number of administrative tasks.  This will be a Monday – Friday role paying circa £17,000 - £19,000 per annum depending on experience. There are also excellent company benefits on offer.

The Role

  • Booking in orders to the internal System
  • Logging Enquiries
  • Logging quotations
  • Printing drawings from customer Enquiries
  • Product Codes – requesting of codes for new sales Orders
  • Simple ship quotations
  • Processing simple Ship orders
  • Raising Sales Order Entry Docs
  • Scanning of Sales Orders

The Candidate

  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Good mathematical background
  • Strong Communicator
  • Conscientious and diligent with a can-do work ethic.
