Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be working with a highly regarded and established Planning Consultancy in the Ribble Valley district of Lancashire on the hire of a Graduate Planner.
Our client is known for their extensive experience in adding value to a range of development schemes and work on planning projects across multiple sectors including; housing, employment, commercial, heritage and minerals and waste. The company is particularly well equipped to deal with developments that require Environmental Impact Assessment and the preparation of Environmental Statements, which will benefit candidates who have an interest in this area of planning.
In this role, you will join a small but experienced team of Planners, who work closely with two other offices (and a wider team of 10) and work towards positive outcomes on planning applications and development proposals, seeking to achieve this through negotiations with planning authorities and interested parties, liaison with legal advisers and advice to clients regarding planning conditions and legal agreements.
Working alongside an experienced and supportive team you will help provide the following planning related services including:
-Environmental Impact Assessments
-Land Appraisal and Promotion
-Development Plan Monitoring
-RTPI accredited degree
-Previous planning experience desirable, but not essential
-Confident communicator, able to demonstrate a clear passion for Planning
-Driving license and vehicle
