The company house the only national TB testing laboratory exclusively dedicated to performing the T-SPOT.TB test. You would play a key role as part of a commercial laboratory which specialises in immune-related diagnostic testing and is committed to providing the highest quality results and service to customers and patients.
As part of the Laboratory Team you would be specifically responsible for conducting the routine testing service offered to aid UK based laboratories and clinicians in the diagnosis of latent TB infection and TB disease. The laboratory uses the T SPOT.TB assay and results are provided within two working days of receipt of sample.
This is a great opportunity for a proactive and responsible bioscience graduate to develop an understanding of the diagnostic and pharmaceutical industries. A good understanding of cell culture and cellular biology techniques is essential. Previous experience of working in a GMP laboratory and working with SOPs would be an advantage.
