I am currently recruiting for a Graduate Logistics Associate to work within their logistics service delivery team ensuring their products are delivered to the end consumer with minimal fuss and of the highest quality. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with the site Managing Director supporting him across all logistics functions. The salary for this role will be £35,000.
The company is striving to provide a "best in class" supply chain offering to their end consumers, you will be asked to regularly meet with supplier partners, working closely with the MD in preparation of meetings and reporting functions to understand better what drives consumer choice in this area.
You will need to proactively investigate what works best in different areas of the supply chain in conjunction with the site MD, the role will have his full support. The Graduate Logistics Associate will be accountable for managing supplier partner relationships, auditing service performance, ensuring the highest standards are met, providing analysis and recommending remedial actions as required. You will work across all site functions to proactively help your employer and suppliers to analyse areas for improvement and take actions to ensure all company KPIs are met.
The Graduate Logistics Associate role will be office based with a focus on specific areas of their Supply Chain network e.g. e-commerce or general FMCG distribution. The role would suit a candidate who has previously worked for a 3PL/distribution company as part of a Graduate Scheme looking to now push on with their career in a structured environment.
The company have a global footprint and you will need to work collaboratively with all global account owners that relate to your UK based clients onsite, it is vital to ensure strong working relationships internationally to always drive the highest level of client satisfaction. To be successful within this role you will need to be a self-starter who can work autonomously with excellent written and verbal communication skills. A candidate with a supply chain management/logistics degree would be desirable but other degree backgrounds within business for example would be considered.
