Graduate Teaching Assistant vacancies 

Academic Appointments are currently working alongside a Special School in the Leeds area who are looking to appoint a number of Graduate Teaching Assistants. The school are looking for forward thinking graduates who have a passion for pursuing a career within education.

We are looking for both full time and part time members of staff to work with and around current commitments.

The school is a generic, all age Special School and National Teaching School which caters for pupils with a range of learning difficulties. The school currently accommodates pupils ranging from 2–19 years old.

Successful candidates will be joining an inspirational and effective team who all work together and support pupils to achieve as much as possible from a wide range of starting points, ensuring that all pupils make good progress.

You will be well supported by a strong leadership team who have a clear vision for the future of the school.

Requirements

  • Experience working with children or working with adults with learning difficulties
  • Team Teach qualified or be willing to attend a course
  • Hold a degree in any subject 
  • 2x references
  • An enhanced valid DBS

Rate of pay is dependent on current grade, experience, and payroll method.
