Our client based in Papworth within the fresh produce industry, due to continued business expansion they are looking for a Graduate transport coordinator to join their team to assist with the smooth running of stock control and route planning.
This is a pivotal role for the business, working closely with the warehouse and planning teams the main tasks of the job will include:
Monitoring goods in stock
Planning driver routes alongside the planning team
Supporting drivers with planning where needed
Tracking and managing customer orders
Checking and updating stock levels
Be able to build and maintain good relationships both internally and externally
Ideally knowledge and experience of fresh produce industry
Good IT Proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word, Navision)
Ability to work accurately and quickly
Works effectively - tackling immediate demands decisively, whilst retaining a broad awareness of emerging requirements. Demonstrates a good sense of priorities, structures workload effectively and delivers consistently good results
Able to communicate effectively, employing tact and discretion and demonstrating a genuine desire to provide a good service
Willingness to work as part of a flexible team providing support or cover for colleagues
Demonstrating an understanding of the business, processes, and system procedures. You will be helping mange the team, ensuring the product arrives on time to quality at the right price. You will be an accomplished negotiator, have an eye for detail and not be frightened of hard work as the business is growing rapidly.
