A leading British manufacturer of fume cupboards supplied to customers ranging from schools to Formula 1 teams to universities and chemical companies, is now looking for an additional Graduate Business Development Executive to join their rapidly growing facility in Somerset.

To join this world class team, we are looking for a competent and enthusiast Graduate Business Development Executive to join our client as a key member of the Sales Team, focusing on Lead Generation and maintaining a successful client base (B2B and B2C).

Over time, the role would develop to include contract management and taking responsibility of projects from the initial inquiry, through to the point of sale and beyond.

Reporting directly to the Industrial and University Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Generating sales leads to build and maintain a successful client base
  • Developing an extensive knowledge of the market and competitors
  • Actively managing smaller sales opportunities
  • Communicating with buyers/customers to correctly quote and successfully close sales
  • Liaising with clients and providing an initial contact point for customer queries, complaints & technical submissions
  • Reviewing site and unit drawings
  • Managing multiple projects at any one time

Qualifications and Experience:

As the successful Graduate Business Development Executive, you will have recently graduated with  Degree (since 2018)  Preference will be given to candidates who achieved a STEM based Degree, though other disciplines will be considered.

Since your graduation you should have gained experience working in a commercial, business or professional environment – especially in sales or lead generation

Additional Information:

Candidates MUST be eligible to work and live in the UK. Copies of Visa and Passport will be requested.

Candidates MUST hold a Full Clean UK Driving License.
