Graduate Recruitment Consultant (Permanent Division)

The Role:

You will be joining a very well-established team with a strong client data base and good reputation in the market. You will work with existing clients while also developing new business. Your main responsibilities will include…

  • Developing effective working relationships with existing and new customers
  • Managing the recruitment cycle from attracting candidates to placement with the client
  • Assessing and evaluating candidates
  • Achieve or exceed targets and objectives
  • Preparing candidates CVs, Job Specifications, Adverts and other paper work required
  • Presenting candidates to clients with recommendation and supporting evidence
  • Assigning candidates to permanent and temporary positions
  • Rates negotiations with the clients
  • Daily review of new applicants and searching for potential candidates by using Internet based sources
  • Communicating with both existing and new clients including arranging and attending clients’ visits to understand requirements and negotiate fees

  • Professional telephone manner and appearance
  • Excellent standard of spoken and written English
  • Must have an engaging personality with ability to build rapport and trust
  • An ambitious and competitive nature
  • Confident, money motivated, results driven, determined, outgoing with engaging personality
  • Full driving licence and ideally own transport is required as the role will involve occasional travel to clients’ meetings
  • Excellent work ethic
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Must have excellent organisational skills with the ability to run multiple projects
  • Experience within a sales role would be advantageous but is not essential
