£20,000 - £27,000/annum negotiable depending on experience

A fantastic opportunity has presented itself for a talented Graduate Town Planner to join a tactically astute and commercially aware Town Planning and Development Consultancy based in Cardiff!

Penguin Recruitment are delighted to be working with this close-knit Planning and Development team, and we are currently seeking applications from ambitious and driven Graduate Town Planners!

My client works on a wide-ranging scale of projects across Residential, Commercial, Education, Energy, Healthcare, Retail, and Leisure sectors. Some of the services this dynamic team provides includes Development plan monitoring & representations, Planning applications and appeals, Urban Regeneration, Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), S106 Negotiations, and Enforcement.

My client is ideally seeking applications from Graduate Planners who have accumulated previous experience in a Town Planning role, however fresh Graduates who hold an RTPI accredited degree will also be considered - above all else, the candidate must be driven with a keen interest in Planning and Development! Due to the close nature of this talented team, the unique opportunity of working directly with Directors and Senior members of the team will also be available!

Candidate Requirements

  • RTPI accredited Degree in Town Planning or related field of study.
  • Previous experience in a Town Planning role beneficial.
  • An understanding of Residential and Commercial Planning.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to use own initiative.
