Graduate Engineer – Python / C / C++ - Open to 2022 Graduates

A highly unique opportunity to work for an incredibly exciting software and hardware consulting start-up. Offering a very exciting opportunity to see the cutting-edge tech you develop being used in multiple products and applications. Due to their initial success they are now looking for a Graduate Engineer, who wants to work on a varied and interesting selection of engineering problems across software, hardware and embedded engineering. The founder of the company has an excellent track record of training people coming out of academia and mentoring engineers taking their first step on the career ladder.

Location: Cambridge – very flexible when it comes to hybrid and remote working (will need to be within commutable distance of office).

Salary: £35k - £40k – Graduate Level (Up to £80k for Principal Level Engineer)

Requirements for Graduate Engineer – Python / C / C++

  • First class honours, or high 2.1 degree from one of the top-rated Universities globally
  • AAB at A Level including Grade A in A-Level Maths
  • Educated in Computer Science, Engineering, Maths, Physics etc
  • Excellent experience using Python, C or C++
  • Desire to work on an array of engineering problems across software, hardware and embedded using whichever programming language is best suited to solving the problem most efficiently
  • Excellent at solving complex problems

Responsibilities for Graduate Engineer – Python / C / C++

Working on developing bespoke high performance technology within a consultancy setting you will be working on a wide array of interesting and complex solutions for external clients covering algorithm, software and hardware design:

To give an idea of the breadth and variety you will cover and be trained in all of the below:

  • Software architecture
  • C/C++ programming
  • Implementing algorithms
  • System architecture
  • PCB Design
  • RTL for FPGAs, SOCs and ASICs
  • Design algorithms
