£25,000 - £30,000/annum + car allowance

Our client, a well-established leading Property Investment company based in North London, are seeking a Graduate Property Surveyor to join their successful property team.

In this new and exciting role, you will deal with all aspects of residential and commercial property in both the private and public sectors.

The Head Office is based in East Finchley, however national travel is required in this role and a car allowance will be offered on this basis.

Principal activities are related to assisting the property team/surveyors with the management, purchase, sale or leasing of land and property on behalf of the Group. Delivery of individual and multiple projects on-time and to budget.

  • Find and research land opportunities or commercial to residential opportunities to pass to the property team
  • Visit property at all stages of refurbishment or development, from green field to foundations and completed buildings and report back
  • Help in the production of detailed reports on property for purposes such as investment potential, valuations for purchase viability and other purposes
  • Completion of risk assessments plus ability to assess and produce reports on properties for acquisitions and disposals
  • Work closely with other professionals such as contractors, in considering new developments or refurbishment works
  • Take accurate measurements and photographs of sites and premises

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Enthusiasm and commitment for the surveying/property profession
  • Degree Qualified in Building Surveying or Real Estate
  • Good oral and written communication
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong numeracy skills
  • The ability to work as part of a team
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Confidence in your own judgement
  • The ability to develop and maintain a network of professional contacts, liaise with Building contractors for the completion of works to an agreed company specification
  • Full driving licence


  • To provide reporting systems as requested and to attend meetings as required.
  • To ensure that work is managed in accordance with the Equal Opportunities policy

  • To undertake a wider role within the Group as required.
