This company are a leading manufacturer in low voltage assemblies, control systems and systems integration. They operate in a range of sectors including energy, oil and gas, nuclear and water. This Nottingham-based company are seeking a graduate Electrical Design Engineer to join the team.

Responsibilities:

Working with the Engineering Manager you will have a varied workload which will help progress your knowledge and skills. You will be preparing drawings and scheduling for the overall electrical scheme using AUTOCAD and getting involved in the testing and commissioning of electrical, control, and instrumentation.

While working within the Electrical team, you will work on large scale projects that will be £2m+, this will be covering a wide range of complex process equipment.

You will interact with clients  in a professional manner to ensure that the highest customer service is achieved. This will be where you keep your manager updated to ensure that the customer is aware of any updates regarding the project.

This role will be predominately office based however if you are required to do any on-site work, the company will provide the necessary training.  They will also help with extra training qualifications to help you develop within the workplace.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Degree level qualification in Electrical Engineering or a similar discipline
  • Ideally you will have completed
  • Any knowledge of water and water waste treatment processes would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of Microsoft packages
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Software experience/knowledge
  • Ability to meet deadlines
