Are you a graduate quantity surveyor looking for opportunities within construction?

We have two graduate opportunities based in and around Bristol working for two well-established award-winning businesses.

One is working for a small bespoke residential developer involved in high end housing developments in and around Bristol.  They are a quality focused business who regularly win awards for their well-designed houses which are finished to the highest standards.

In this role you would gain exposure to both subcontract and material procurement helping you to become well rounded in your understanding of the commercial functions.  Based both in the office and on site you would be supported by the commercial manager and team, helping you to develop and grow into the role.  Once trained you will have responsibility for the commercial management of projects, developing relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure the delivery on budget. The company provide a different more nurturing environment than a large PLC' with sensible build programmes and a good long-standing network of suppliers enabling them to focus more on quality.

The other position is working for a national contractor involved in the delivery of new build residential projects for their clients which include local authorities, as well as private and affordable housing developers.  In this role you would be working under a Senior Quantity Surveyor based both on site and assist them in the commercial management of projects.

Applicants will ideally be degree qualified or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, and have a positive attitude and winningness to learn.  Both opportunities come with salary and benefits package as well as the chance to become part of settled commercial teams in vibrant businesses.
