Graduate Health and Safety Consultant - Birmingham
I am currently working with an international multi-disciplinary consultancy who specialise within the property and infrastructure sectors. They are looking for a Graduate Health and Safety Consultant to join their Construction team in Birmingham. If successful, you will have opportunity to join a professional team working on a range of exciting projects.
Requirements:
- Educated to degree level
- Awareness of the CDM regulations and associated legislation.
- An understanding of the design process and the principles of risk reduction.
- Graduate or Technical membership of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CAD software
Whilst working as a Health and Safety Consultant you will:
- Assist with the preparation of pre-construction information.
- Review construction phase plans and method statements.
- Provide advice to contractors on CDM.
- Site inspections.
- Support colleagues at design team meetings.
- Set up projects and provide administrative support.
