This is an exciting and challenging opportunity that Wise Employment are currently recruiting for based in the Plymouth area for a Graduate Supply Chain Analyst.
You will be working within a busy and successful supply chain department where you will measure the performance of both warehousing and transportation. You will be responsible for translating KPI’s and statistics into tangible insights whilst providing data recommendations. You will therefore need to be naturally inquisitive and have strong analysis skills, which will help identify opportunities to increase efficiencies and reduce costs whist maintaining service levels.
If you are looking for a perfect balance between office and field based work, then this the role for you. You will be required to visit various locations throughout the UK to assess quality control on a weekly basis.
Other duties will include; Analysing order fulfilment and planning metrics for a vast amount of retail outlets, investigate stock discrepancies measure pick and dispatch accuracy, forecast inbound/outbound and stock capacity requirements. You will also suggest areas for improvement and pull together your own datasets from multiple sources.
Key skills and experiences
You will be analytically and commercially minded with a keen eye for detail. It would be preferable for you to have experience in retail or supply chain. You will need to be competent in data extraction and analysis via SQL databases, advanced Excel formulae and Power BI.
A full UK drivers licence is required due to frequent travel involved.
This will be working Monday to Friday 0845am – 1730pm within an easily accessible location.
