Graduate Cover Supervisor

I am currently recruiting for an energetic and confident graduate for a cover supervisor role in a secondary academy in Wythenshawe, Manchester.

This a full-time role is from September 2022 until July 2023.

The Role

Cover Supervisor Monday to Friday 8.30 - 3.30pm

The role will include:

• Taking the lead in the absence of the teacher
• Sole responsibility for teaching and learning
• Delivering pre-planned lessons
• Using provided resources to encourage learning
• Managing the behaviour within the classroom
• Developing independent study skills and peer learning
• Pastoral and learning support
• Managing handover back to the teacher
• Experience of teaching or covering Maths , Science or English would be beneficial

To join us and be successful in this graduate cover supervisor role, you will need to:

a minimum of 2 month's experience in the last 2 years of working with children aged 11 to 18
