Health and Social Care Graduate - SEMH Support Assistant

We are currently recruiting Health and Social Care Graduates looking to start a career in Education. We have opportunities on a full-time or part-time basis to work as a SEMH Support Assistant within SEND School in Ealing.
You will be supporting pupils with different SEND needs, In particular Social, Emotional and Mental Health. Experience in supporting adults or Children with SEMH is desirable but not essential, as training can be provided. We are looking for individuals dedicated to helping children of different age groups and who have the ability to adapt.
Job Responsibilities
- Comfortable supporting pupils with SEMH
- Ability to engage and support pupils with learning
- Support social interaction with others
- Managing pupils behaviour

Job Requirements
- Experience in supporting children or young adults with learning difficulties or disabilities is desirable
- Able to stay calm and de-escalate challenging Behaviour
- Valid DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one
- Available 2-5 days a week and able to commit to at least 1-6 months
