Graduate Health and Safety Consultant - Birmingham

My client, a major multidisciplinary Consultancy specialising in Civil, Structural and Water Engineering are looking for a Graduate Health and Safety Consultant to join a group of technically skilled specialists in Birmingham.

Requirements:

Candidates are required to have a Degree level education in a relevant discipline such as Occupational Health / Health & Safety or another subject.

It is preferable that the candidate holds an additional Health and Safety qualification such as a NEBOSH diploma, alongside having a keen interest in all Health and Safety measures.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Full UK Driving License.
  • Proven ability to set up projects and provide administrative support.
  • Ability to support senior members on projects to help ensure the compliance with the CDM regulations 2015.
  • Strong communication and written skills.

This impressive role will involve working across a broad range of diverse sectors including healthcare, science, energy and education.

The role involves:

  • Site inspections.
  • Reviewing construction phase plans and method statements.
  • Assisting with the preparation of pre-construction information.
  • Providing advice to contractors on CDM.
