Graduate Structural Engineer - (Cardiff)
My client is looking for a Graduate Structural Engineer to join their thriving Engineering Design Team. They implement a holistic approach to design, while focusing on delivering value for local communities and businesses. They house a broad range of specialists offering a great diversity of skills throughout both the public and private sectors.
Working within a well-balanced team of experts, you will provide the following services:
Preparing feasibility studies.
Undertaking detailed designs of highway improvement schemes.
Preparing contract drawings using Revit, Tekla, Midas and AutoCAD software.
Preparing the full engineering data package for a single option for development.
Managing engineering interfaces.
Assisting in preparation of technical outputs in accordance with Capita's quality management system.
Candidates should hold an Engineering degree in a relevant discipline with a grade of 2:1 or higher. A desire to work towards chartership for the Institute of Civil Engineers is beneficial, with the proven ability to communicate through a variety of mediums. It is crucial that the candidate has confident understanding of the CDM 2015 Regulations and CSM 2013 Regulations, specifically the designer's requirements. Excellent written and oral communication skills would be extremely advantageous, alongside the ability to manage your own time in accordance with deadlines and targets.
It would be valuable for the candidate to have a full UK Driving License.
