GRADUATE TOWN PLANNER

Penguin Recruitment is delighted to present a fantastic opportunity for a Graduate/Assistant Town Planner in Leeds!

My client is a highly regarded, independent consultancy offering a range of planning and development related services. They currently have an opportunity for an ambitious Graduate Planner with previous experience to join the rapidly growing Planning team.

The established Planning team specialises in large scale mixed-use regeneration projects, infrastructure, housing, and complex development schemes and prides itself on getting the best outcomes for their clients.

Duties of the Role

The successful candidate will support senior planners in delivering a variety of planning projects including all aspects of advice, planning applications, appeals and complex projects working across various disciplines, this will include:

  • Preparing well considered and accurate planning advice
  • Produce comprehensive reports and correspondence
  • Manage and build relationships with new and existing clients
  • Assist on project client meetings

Candidate Requirements

  • RTPI accredited degree in Town Planning or related field of study
  • Currently in pursuit of MRTPI Chartership, or a desire to do so
  • Previous experience in infrastructure projects, appeals, or residential developments advantageous
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • An understanding of UK planning law
