Graduate International Medical Sales Associate

Our client is in search of a Graduate International Medical Sales Associate to support and work alongside the Operations Manager in the day-to-day running of the commercial department and warehouse operations for all international sales, based at their head office in Cardiff 5 days per week.

Ideal Requirement

  • Full UK driving licence is essential.
  • Recent graduate, ideally in a scientific subject.
  • Strong sales experience in a customer-facing environment.
  • Excellent demonstrable research into the medical sales industry.
  • Shadowing experience of a Medical Sales Representative is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Keen desire to step into the medical sales industry.

Role Responsibilities

  • Product Knowledge – A high level of product knowledge will be required, of the range of products and that of their competition.
  • Arranging shipment of orders with couriers and tracking orders daily until they are received by the recipient.
  • Strengthening international customer relationships, through better communication.
  • Liaising with Customs to provide the regulatory documentation and clearance documents for smooth transition from the business to the international distributors.
  • Liaising with Couriers for international shipments, billing, shipping, and tracking of orders.
  • General stock replenishment and monitoring of minimum order levels so stock can be ordered proactively.
  • Ensure warehouse dispatch goals/targets are met, maintaining an effective and safe warehouse system and environment.
  • Collectively work with the commercial team to ensure daily/weekly team targets are met.
  • Answer queries from the sales team regarding the portfolio of customers.
  • Processing customers phone, email and web orders, customer returns, change to orders etc.
  • Understanding customer requirements and addressing any enquiries or discrepancies that may arise efficiently and effectively.
  • Support the sales team with the sample process, sample log and recording the data for the QA department.
  • Providing warehouse cover when required - picking order items from the warehouse based on product code, number, size, colour, quantity, and quality requirements, ensuring that they accurately match the customer purchase order.
