Penguin Recruitment are delighted to present a fantastic Graduate Planner opportunity with a Rural Planning Consultancy based in Worcestershire!
The current team work on some exciting and varied projects across several sectors including plots and residential land, agricultural building, access and infrastructure, leisure and sports facilities, rural retail, tourism, and farm worker dwellings.
They currently have a requirement for an ambitious, enthusiastic, and dynamic Graduate Town Planner to join the team in working on these exciting projects!
Duties of the role will include…
- Working In a supporting role to six experienced planning consultants
- Undertaking technical research in support of planning projects and advice
- Assisting the senior planners in draft applications
- Being involved in the whole process of advising, strategy and making applications
- Producing plans and working with mapping software
- General support across the team
Candidate Requirements…
- Confident and friendly with a positive attitude
- Highly motivated and determined
- Organised, goal orientated and willing to go the extra mile when needed
- Committed to learning new skills and developing your technical planning understanding
- Great at communicating with both colleagues and external clients/customers
- Proficient with computers and excellent written skills
