Graduate Quantity Surveyor

Basics
- Role : Graduate Quantity Surveyor
- Location: Birmingham
- Salary: £20,000 - £25,000
- Company: Main contractor
The Role
This role will turbo-charge your career! If you're a recent graduate the most important thing right now is exposure to projects. In this role, you'll be working closely with a Senior QS and everything they do - you'll do. This means that in a year or two you'll have more experience than most Assistant QS's!
Two years ago our client took on some Graduates, and now they're all fully fledged QS's and one has even worked their way to Senior QS.
The scope of work this company does is so wide, you can go in any direction from civils to building. Demolition to highways.
The Company
Our client is the UK's biggest employee owned contractor. They started in the 80's as a plant hire company and eventually expanded to where they are now, with almost a billion pound turnover. They work on a wide range of projects, from HS2 to Atomic Weapons contracts. They're expanding the Anfield stadium and Forest's City ground.
They're in the process of opening brand new Birmingham offices and finalising contracts across the west midlands. Because of this, they're looking to expand their commercial operations around Birmingham.
