Graduate Credit Controller (fluent Cantonese and/or Mandarin)

International market leading marketing organisation based in Manchester City Centre require a relationship focused graduate to join as a Credit Controller.
Reporting directly to the Lead Credit Controller in a centralised Group finance function, the role will be Graduate Credit Controller (fluent Cantonese and/or Mandarin). The focus of the role will be to collect outstanding invoices from the company's international customers.
Your responsibilities as the Graduate Credit Controller (fluent Cantonese and/or Mandarin):
- Chasing Client payments for outstanding invoices
- Processing Client Invoices in a timely manner
- Resolving Client and Consultant invoicing queries
- Allocating client payments accordingly
- Creating and maintain new customer accounts on the System
- Maintaining and collating Management Information for the Senior Management Team
- Ensuring the Credit Risk Log is up to date with accurate credit limits and client account balances
- Helping the Lead Credit Controller and other members of the team to identify any clients or balances that may result into bad debt
- Help identify any Clients that need to be added to the Credit Insurance Policy
- Ensuring the cash forecast model is up to date
Key Technical Disciplines:
- Must be fluent in Cantonese and/or Mandarin
- Educated to degree level
- Strong Negotiation skills and tactics
- Minimum 3 years experience in Credit Control
- Excellent Communication skills - both written and verbal
- Ability to work both efficiently and effectively alone as well as part of a large and varied team
- Basic skills of all MS Packages including Excel and Word
