Graduate Geotechnical Engineer - Glasgow - £negotiable
We have a new opportunity for a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer to join a fast-growing and dynamic team based in Glasgow.
This role would be ideal for a recent graduate with some technical experience and commercial awareness, and now looking to expand upon their field skills and keen for career progression.
Key responsibilities include:
- Completing both field and office-based projects to a high standard
- Supervision of construction works
- Preparing Phase 1 and 2 geotechnical and geo-environmental site investigation reports
- Carrying out detailed quantitative risk assessments.
- Liaising and reporting to more senior staff members
- Offering technical advice
Needed qualifications and experience:
- Relevant in degree e.g Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering
- 12 months relevant industry experience
- Ability to work as a team player
- Good communication skills
- Excellent report writing skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
- Ability to travel to different sites
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Full UK driving license
