Role: Graduate OR Junior Electronics Design Engineer

Location: Chester and fully onsite role

Hours of Work: 36.25 (8.30am start- 4.30pm finish. 45 min lunch)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a graduate or junior electronics Engineer to join our team producing innovative solutions.

Your role will include:

• Creating innovative designs that fulfil challenging user and performance requirements.
• Ensuring designs meet requirements via prototyping/testing, documentation and certification.
• Using experience and technical best practice to overcome problems.
• Ensuring that designs comply with the appropriate international standards.
• Driving the EMC certification process and meeting those requirements.
• Adopting good design principles to mitigate supply chain dependencies.
• Support third parties involved in the design, prototype and production process.
• Identification, communication and solution proposal for technical issues and risk management.
• Supporting other teams in matters relating to the electronic designs.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree/ HND / HNC or equivalent experience in Electrical/Electronic engineering
• Digital & analogue electronic schematic design and layout
• Prototyping and fault finding to the component level.
• Circuit simulation
• Seeking alternative components and ensuring they meet requirements.
• Networked designs
