Job Profile for Graduate / Assistant Building Surveyor - LF(phone number removed)

We are currently representing a well-established Consultancy based in Southeast London that are seeking a Graduate / Assistant Building Surveyor to join their growing team.

The successful Graduate / Assistant Building Surveyor will be responsible for providing assistance to Chartered Building Surveyors and Associates within the team, prepare and produce specifications for works, tender and contract documents as well as assist with surveys and inspections, analyse site activities such as progress reports, quality and cost of projects.

An ideal candidate would be perhaps someone with professional service experience (party wall, dilapidations, licences etc), that are looking for a more wider breadth of building surveying, but would be happy to practice in the other matters.

Graduate / Assistant Building Surveyor Position Overview

• Provide assistance to Chartered Building Surveyors and Associates within the team
• Prepare and produce specifications for works, tender and contract documents
• Assist with surveys and inspections, analyse site activities such as progress reports, quality and cost of projects.
• Provide assistance to Chartered Building Surveyors / Associates in their role when they are acting as Employer's Agent and Contract Administrator
• Work within the Residential, Commercial, Education, Heritage and Leisure sectors
• Ensure the successful completion of the team's instructions

Graduate / Assistant Building Surveyor Position Requirements

• Degree in Building Surveying (RICS Accredited)
• Around 12 Months + Experience; Highly Beneficial
• Living within commuting distance of Southeast London
• Highly motivated with an excellent work ethic

Graduate / Assistant Building Surveyor Position Remuneration

• Salary; £25,000 - £30,000 + (DOE)
• Holiday; 22 Days + Bank Holidays
• 4% Pension
• Business Travel Expenses paid by company
• Support through APC / Chartership
