We are currently seeking a highly motivated and passionate Psychology graduate to join our dedicated team at a challenging, yet continuously growing Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in King's Lynn. This is an exceptional opportunity for an aspiring psychologist to gain invaluable experience working with children with diverse needs in a supportive and stimulating environment.

What does your new role entail:

•Assist the classroom teacher in delivering lessons and supporting pupils with SEN in the classroom
•Work with small groups or individual pupils, providing additional support and assistance as required
•Help to create and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment for pupils with SEN
•Attend meetings with parents and other professionals as required to discuss pupils' progress and support needs
•Undertake any other duties as required to support the smooth running of the school
•Monitor and track pupil progress, and provide regular feedback to the class teacher and other professionals
•Support pupils to achieve their full potential, both academically and socially, in a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Skills and Qualifications required:

•A degree in Psychology
•Passion for working with children and a desire to make a positive impact on their lives
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents
•Ability to work as part of a team and take direction from the classroom teacher
•Experience working with children would be advantageous, but not essential
•A commitment to ongoing professional development and learning

All candidates who register with Simply Education will have 2 years referencing taken up and will be required to have an enhanced DBS check completed. All offers are conditional upon satisfactory background checks.
