Position: Psychology Graduate - Learning Support Assistant

Location: Birmingham

Hours: Full-time, from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm

Start Date: Immediate Type: Temporary to Permanent (for suitable candidates)

As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll provide crucial support to children and young adults with various needs, such as Autism, ADHD, Mild/Severe Learning Difficulties, and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health conditions. Your role goes beyond the classroom, nurturing growth and empowerment every step of the way. To succeed, you'll need adaptability, good communication skills, and a caring attitude.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology (or related field).
  • Previous experience working with children or individuals with special needs is preferred.
  • DBS check required, or willingness to apply for one.
  • Important qualities: Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
  • Genuine passion for nurturing children's development and well-being.
  • Flexibility to meet the diverse needs of students.
