Think Recruitment are working with a leading fit-out client who is looking to add a Graduate / Junior Project Manager to their team. You will be joining a fitout contractor who specialise in fast paced fitout projects across the UK.

As a Graduate / Junior Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced Senior Project Managers and Directors, gaining valuable hands-on experience and contributing to the successful delivery of projects.

Duties of a Project Manager include

• Assist in the planning and coordination of construction fit-out projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Liaise with designers, subcontractors and clients to ensure project progress and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction activities, assess progress, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schedules, budgets, progress reports, and meeting minutes.
• Assist in the procurement of materials and services, reviewing quotes, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships.
• Support the project team in resolving technical challenges and implementing effective solutions to meet project objectives.
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates on project status, milestones, and potential risks.
• Estimate costs, track expenses, and make sure the project stays within budget.

You will need to be ambitious with a real willingness to learn and succeed. A self starter who can think independently, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate to individuals on different levels. Ideally our client is looking for someone with a relatable degree or trade qualifications and experience from within construction.
