The company is a well-established plumbing and heating provider based in the North West and has been experiencing a massive influx of growth lately and needs to find the right people to help them facilitate further expansion.

In this role you will be trained to work with a team to develop project budgets, monitoring costs and coordinating communication with other departments to ensure that work is done as cost-effectively as possible. You will also be taught how to negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to try and secure the best prices possible.

The ideal candidate is someone who can be engaged throughout the training process and has recently graduated from University or holds a HNC/ HND in the field of Quantity Surveying, Construction, Civil Engineering or a similar field. Some industry experience would be desirable but not essential.

The role:

*Producing budgets for upcoming projects

*Carrying out analysis and develop financial reports of ongoing projects to ensure they are running as cost effectively as possible

*Managing negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors

*Collaborating with other departments to find ways to reduce costs

The Person:

*Bachelor's Degree or HNC/ HND in Quantity Surveying, Construction, Civil Engineering or a relevant field

*Good understanding of the construction industry, construction methods and material costs

*Effective negotiation and problem solving skills

*Some previous industry experience (Desirable)
