Graduate Food Technologist

Opportunity for a recent Food Science graduate to develop their career in Food Quality and Technology.
Here you'll join as Technical Assistant, learning all aspects of this innovative food business. You'll be part of a customer-facing Technical team that works closely with their premium retail customers. They have a great range of innovative products with regular new product launches.
The role will provide you with full training and development to progress to a Food Technologist position. You'll gain wide-ranging experience with involvement in:
- Product quality checks and evaluations
- Quality complaints and investigations
- Technical documentation for new product launches
- Shelf-life assessments
- Allergen risk management
- Adherence to retailer's technical standards
- Packaging and export requirements
It's a great business to learn all aspects of a Food Technologist role. They work to the highest UK retail standards, supplying top quality, premium products. You'll get a real breadth of exposure and be part of a close-knit supportive team.
You'll need a Food Science or Nutrition degree with some experience in a food manufacturing environment. You'll also be super organised with great attention to detail.
The UK technical team are based in central London and usually work in the office Mon-Thu with Fridays home-working. The position does involve some travel to sites. Unfortunately visa sponsorship is not available so you'll need the permanent right to work in the UK.
