As Recruitment Partner to Johnson Procurement Solutions Limited (JSP), we are hiring a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to operate and drive throughout the UK, whilst being based at their Newton Aycliffe site.
  
This prominent procurement specialist offers integrated solutions and services on an interim and outsourced basis with expertise across various industries, representing clients in their strategic supply chain and procurement activities.
  
You will have a degree in Quantity Surveying, construction management or similar related field. Consideration will be given to candidates with a BTEC qualification in Construction Management coupled with relevant industry experience. Your strong analytical and mathematical skills will enable you to prepare monthly application and valuation reports, manage payments and efficiently submit invoices for projects.
  
You will have a basic understanding of the procurement process and familiarity with NEC3/NEC4 JCT forms of contact.
  
You will be confident and outgoing with a willingness to learn and will be responsible for attending client meetings, building strong relationships both internally and externally with your excellent communications skills.
  
Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting SRM and category management
• Identifying client’s key strategic requirements and developing project specific vendor engagement plans, procurement strategies, category maps and strategic approach
• Managing pre-qualification and all aspects of invitation to tender processes and procurement schedules
