My Client, a specialist UK based Consultancy which specialises in Hydrology, Hydrogeology and Geotechnical Engineering, is searching for a Graduate Flood Risk Consultant to be based in Shrewsbury.

Applicants are required to have a strong MSc and/or BSc in a relevant discipline including Environmental Science, River Basin Dynamics, Hydrology, Geography or Civil Engineering and have a keen interest in flood risk, drainage, hydrogeology and contaminated land.

It is also beneficial for applicants to live locally to Shrewsbury as you will be required to work from the office.

This exciting role will offer you training and support and the chance to join a specialist UK based Consultancy based in Shrewsbury. This exciting role will involve varied Hydrological, Hydrogeological, Surface Water and Drainage Projects for Private Sector Clients, Local Authorities, Insurance Companies, Property Experts and Housing Developers.

You will be trained by a specialise team to complete technical work spanning;

-Flood Risk Assessments for Planning Applications

-SuDS Assessments.

-Drainage Strategies.

-Contaminated Land Assessments.

You will also have the opportunity to be involved in site visits across the local area.
