A civil and transport planning consultancy are looking for a  graduate transport planner to join them in their office in London.


 


As the graduate transport planner you will combine your previous academic learning with practical experience and professional development gained while at this consultancy to form the foundation for your professional career. You will have a mentor who will guide you through your chartership and provide technical guidance on projects. You will also have the opportunity to network with peers and personnel from all areas of the business during initiatives such as graduate networking events and company social events.


 


Role & Responsibilities :


 


-          Supporting transport planning projects from forecasting and appraisal, to gathering and analysing data for local modelling studies


-          The production of local, national and regional transport policy documents designed to support and facilitate improvements to the transportation network


-          The development of Transport Assessments and Travel Plans to support planning applications


-          Assessing the different costs and benefits of transport schemes and programmes


-          Developing and apply the principles and techniques of changing travel behaviour, including travel planning, travel marketing, walking and cycling initiatives and journey planning


 


Requirements:


-          Looking for someone who has a degree in transport planning/engineering or Geography.
