Graduate Quantity Surveyor

Exeter

We are offering a unique opportunity for a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join a long-standing regional contractor, offering a dedicated training programme, giving you the tools and experience to progress your commercial career.

With a diverse client base, you will be exposed to both refurbishment and new build projects, covering commercial, education, and public sector projects.

Shadowing and supported by a senior commercial team member you will be involved in the following:

• Supporting the commercial team with subcontractor procurement
• Client invoicing, applications for payments, remittance etc.
• Site Measurements
• Client liaison and relationship building
• Introduction to valuations/variations
• Introduction to forms of contracts and understanding the legalities of contracts.

To be considered for this role, you will be a recent Graduate in a Construction related subject, Quantity Surveying will be advantageous.  Good IT skills will be expected in particular Excel.  A full UK driving license as regular site visits will be expected.
