We are currency looking for a Graduate Project Manager for our client who are a specialist interiors contractor working on some of the most prestigious projects in the country such as palaces, exclusive residences, luxury retail stores and 5 star hotels.


Job: Graduate Project Manager

Location: Office in South West London. Sites in Central London and southern England


Responsibilities:

-    Ensuring works are carried out to a high quality standard and within programme

-    Managing site teams / resources across various projects to ensure works are delivered on time

-    Client facing, ability to build and maintain strong relationships

-    Reading and understanding the client’s drawings and programme, preparing the GJ sub-programme to meet these requirements or identify issues

-    Calling off materials from workshop for delivery to site as required

-    Ensuring works are carried out safely and that our work areas are tidy

-    Writing method statements and risk assessments as required

-    Commercial management of projects

-    The Assistant Project Manager is working towards becoming a full Project Manager who takes projects from order to final account being responsible for production scheduling, commercial management and site management. 

-    In this role you will assist and learn from Project Manager colleagues.


Requirements:

-    A university degree in engineering or a construction related discipline, 

-    Demonstrable skills in mathematics/sciences

-    Commercial acumen

-    Computer literate, particularly Excel

-    Excellent communication skills, verbal and written

-    Pro-active, can-do attitude. Desire to learn and improve

-    Knowledge of preparing and reading drawings and programmes of works is a bonus
