Are you a recently Graduated Civil Engineer looking to join a successful consultancy?

 

We are looking for a Graduate Civil Engineer to join a high-quality engineering firm in Birmingham, where they’re looking to expand their Civils team. You’ll be surrounded by a team of experienced engineers and mentors to help progress your career.

 

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year’ experience in the design of infrastructure related projects consisting of highways, drainage, earthworks and have current working knowledge of the use of Civils 3D, CAD, and drainage design software.

 


What you’ll be doing:

• Undertake design for infrastructure projects, including 3D surface modelling and hydraulic drainage design.
• Represent the company at client, contractor, and local authority meetings.
• Knowledge of design and approvals for S278 and S38 highway schemes with design capability when supervised by senior staff.
• Knowledge of design and approvals of S104, S106 and S185 drainage schemes, including awareness of current drainage legislation and sustainable drainage practice.
• Knowledge and awareness of the preparation of Flood Risk Assessments.
• Knowledge of working with Civils 3D, AutoCAD and drainage modelling software such as FLOW or Microdrainage.
