I have been retained by a well-established, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy who are leaders within the maritime sector as they are looking for a graduate engineer to join their rapidly growing team. As a graduate you will be encouraged to become an all-round engineer and will be working on a wide range of projects both in the UK and overseas giving you the best opportunity possible for both personal and professional development. The projects you will be working on range in scale from planning large new international port developments to design of passenger piers on the Thames or the inspection of an aging maritime asset. This role is perfect for a graduate who wants to get involved in both civils and structures work and is also keen on specialising within the maritime sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Help undertake and deliver projects and engineering designs at all stages in the project life cycle
  • Collaborate with clients, other professionals, and local authorities.
  • Embed sustainability/net zero carbon in their project work.

What are they looking for?

  • Degree in either Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Well organised with the ability to multitask
  • Highly motivated and organised
