Realise Education have a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to become a English teaching assistant with a wonderful secondary school based in Hillingdon.

This school is high achieving, successful and has high expectations for every student.

The school needs someone who can work across KS3 and KS4 in the English department and be the extra support students need to help them reach their full potential.

The Opportunity:

• English Graduate Teaching Assistant

• Mixed Secondary School based in Uxbridge, Hillingdon 

• £450 - £500 weekly – term time only!

• September start

• Gain classroom experience first before training to become a teacher The Successful candidate must:

• Must have a degree in English(2:2 or above)

• Must have a passion for education and your specialist subject (English)

• Must be able to commit for the full academic year

• Be able to keep students engaged and motivated

• Be enthusiastic and confident within the classroom

• Have strong communication skills

• Be passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people

As an English teaching assistant, you will be working alongside with classroom teachers (KS3/KS4) and the head of English to help support students with their learning and help them reach their full potential along with improve their academic performance.

You will support intervention/revision sessions, support students on a 1:1 and small group basis (inside & outside the classroom) as well as create revision material and resources for students to use.
