Programme Duration: 2-year programme starting in September 2024

Graduate Programme;



During this programme, you'll gain valuable insight into our services and strategic projects and we'll help you to further develop your skills and knowledge so that you can succeed in your career. You'll also join our graduate network and receive our continued support throughout.



This role focuses on Veolia's Industrial, Water and Energy customers in Northern England and Scotland.



Veolia's Total Waste Management customers will be at the heart of this role, although there will also be exposure to some of Veolia's other workstreams. It is likely that the successful candidate will be located in Billingham.



We're strong believers in continuous development here at Veolia and actively encourage and support everyone to keep going after you finish the programme.



What you'll be doing;



- Take the initiative to research options and identify potential solutions from within the industry as well as from other sectors around the world.

- Support the business to meet contractual and regulatory requirements.

- Work with contract managers in the business to ensure that we:

  • Are managing contracts effectively
  • Delivering for our customers
  • Innovating and delivering on Sustainability goals including carbon reduction
  • Working with the waste hierarchy, to minimise waste and turn it into a resource



What we're looking for;



- Degree-level qualification in Chemistry or another environmental science degree (to be achieved by September 2024)

- Willingness to travel with occasional short stays away from home

- Strong communication skills and problem-solving mindset

- Good interpersonal skills from a range of experiences and environments

- A proactive and self-motivated individual who is curious, keen to learn, and relishes a challenge

- Full, clean UK driving licence
