After 5 years of continuous service the holiday is increased by 2 days and then an additional day for every year worked with a cut off at 5 days.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Mechanical Engineer with our Biggin Hill based client, who specialise in the manufacture of traditional industrial combustion burners and boilers as well as cutting edge, industrial, high efficiency, hydrogen ready condensing boilers

This is a progression role, starting out in the Technical Sales & Client Support Team but could lead into a role within Project Management, Design or Sales

The role is based in Biggin Hill, but once settled and established, the right candidate could have the chance to travel internationally to visit customers.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education, and after-sales support services
• Developing long-term relationships with our existing clients through managing and interpreting their requirements
• Reading, working from and interpreting technical drawings
• Preparing client quotations for spares, burners and boilers and following them up to see if the quotes met with their expectations and updating the CRM (Dynamics 365) accordingly
• Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product meets client needs
• Attending Sales Exhibitions and Training schools in the USA/Europe/UK as and when required
• Liaising with the engineering team
• Producing monthly contract reports

Skills and Qualifications Required

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Excellent communication skills, comfortable with speaking to customers on the phone
• Flexible and have a can-do attitude
• Knowledge of 2D AutoCAD and 3D Inventor
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
