Brief Outline
We are currently looking for a Graduate Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join a market leading Industrial Services contractor throughout their ongoing expansion.
About our Client
The company has been operating for over 30 years. After a successful period of growth they are looking to expand the commercial team. With a turnover of £100 million+ and six offices across the UK, they deliver specialist contracting services to a variety of clients across oil and gas, petrochemical, power, decommissioning and infrastructure, amongst other areas.
The business has a dynamic and energetic management team.
About the Role
They are preferably looking for a degree / HNC/ HND qualified candidate in Quantity Surveying/ Commercial Management/ Construction Management or related discipline who would like to develop their career with a cost estimating function. The candidate will be trained and develop their skills in cost estimating for large scale, multi million pound projects across the UK.
About the Candidate
Degree / HNC/ HND qualified preferably
Any previous experience in a commercial/ surveying/ estimating function for the construction or industrial industry would be a bonus
Excellent analytical skills are essential, as are numeracy, literacy and communication in English.
Computer literacy in MS Office
Flexible self-starter with the ability to prioritise
Points of Appeal
Market leading contractor with a long pipeline of work and large varied client base
Clear route to a more senior role in the commercial team
