Graduate Town Planner - Cardiff
Salary: £24,000 - £28,000, depending on experience
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Town Planner to join a leading urban planning consultancy based in Cardiff. The company is looking for a motivated and ambitious individual to support their team in delivering planning services for a variety of high-profile development projects. This role offers the flexibility of working at their Cardiff office or Bristol office space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and submission of planning applications
- Provide planning advice on urban development projects
- Conduct research and analysis of local planning policies and regulations
- Collaborate with senior planners and external stakeholders
- Support the management of projects through the planning process
Graduate Town Planner Requirements:
- RTPI-accredited degree in Town Planning or related field
- Some professional experience in private consultancy
- Must have started the APC and be actively pursuing chartership
- A strong understanding of planning law and policy
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills
- A proactive and collaborative approach to work
- An interest in urban development and shaping communities
